Shopmium permits consumer packaged goods companies to directly reach their consumers through exclusive promotions on their smartphones. It is an advertising platform that generates visibility for brands while driving sales in store. After downloading the app, users receive access to various offers and can geolocate stores where they can find the products being offered. These promotions are simultaneously available at all the stores where the product is sold. Once the product is purchased, the user takes a picture of the store receipt and instantly receives a cash back rebate. In 3 years, Shopmium has realized more than 300 campaigns for brands like Kellogg’s, Barilla, Tropicana, Milka, Danone, L’Oréal Paris, SFR and others.

Shopmium was created in 2011 by 3 complementary individuals. Eli Curetti has 16 years of experience creating start-ups in Europe and in the U.S.; Quentin de Chivré has 15 years of experience in the Technology & Web industry, where for 9 years he was the Director of Research & Development at; and Philippe Cantet has 16 years in the Consumer Goods industry, where most recently he was the Managing Director of Innocent Drinks for France.

After its creation, Shopmium raised over € 6M from ISAI, Accel Partners and Ventech. Shopmium has received recognition and awards at Trophées Orange, SFR Jeunes Talents, and the E-Commerce Awards 2012.  

The company has been acquired by Quotient Technology Inc in November 2015. (Press Release)
